Current families

Everything you need once your child is in a class. Nothing here is urgent except the first one — an absence has to reach us at least 24 hours before the class starts.

Missing a class

Tell us about an absence

Illness, a school clash, a family weekend - whatever the reason, tell us and that class comes back to you as a $40 credit. Book a make-up at the same time, or leave the credit on your account.

The one hard rule: it has to be in at least 24 hours before the class starts. We book courts and coaches for every child in every class, and kids improve fastest when they come consistently. Each child gets one last-minute cancel each season (less than 24 hours before class) that we still credit. After that, a cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or no notice, means the class is used. If we don't hear from you and your child doesn't turn up, that class is used.

  • One submission covers several weeks. Going away for a month? Tick every week you'll miss in one go.
  • Book up to six make-ups at the same time. Any venue, any session with room.
  • No make-up? Nothing to do. Any week you miss without booking a make-up is credited back automatically.
  • It takes about a minute. Your number, your child, the weeks.

Form not loading, or would rather use it directly? Open the plain absence form in a new tab, or text us on 0468 090 171 - a text at least 24 hours before the class starts counts.

Credits

How your credits work

A credit is one $40 class you've paid for and didn't use. It doesn't expire and there's no cap on how many you can hold.

  • Use it as a make-upAny venue, any session with room
  • Or leave itIt comes off your next block of 10
  • SiblingsOne pool — a credit is never stranded on the wrong child
  • Not sure of your balance?Text us and we'll tell you

The full policy, including what happens if we cancel a class, is on the pricing page.

Next season

Enrol for a season

A season is 10 weekly classes — $400, or your sibling-discounted amount if it's your family's first season. Classes run every week, including school holidays.

Any credits sitting on your account come off the amount we ask you for — you don't need to work it out yourself.

Changing day or venue

Switch sessions

Moved house, changed schools, or the day just stopped working? Tell us the session you'd like and the week the change should start. Your remaining classes come with you.

Only sessions with room are listed. If the one you wanted isn't there, it's full — see the other days at that venue or text us and we'll work something out.

Want to try the other day before you commit to it? Book it as a free trial on the trial booking page — a class your child isn't already in is free to try, the same as anyone's first class. Then come back here to switch properly, or tell us if you'd like to keep both.

What you get: the form tells you when a session is full

What you need to do: nothing

  1. Open the sign-up form for the session.
  2. If a place is there, choose it and press "Submit".
  3. If the session is full, the form says: "This session is full right now." Choose another date if one is open. Success: you see the confirmation after pressing "Submit", or you see the full message and know that date is full.

Tell another family

A message you can forward

If a family you know is asking about badminton, you can paste this into a class or school group chat.

Our family goes to Go Badminton, beginner badminton training for kids in Melbourne's south-east. If your child would like to try a class, text 0468 090 171 or book at https://gobadmintonclub.com/book.html

Would you rather just talk to someone?

Call or text 0468 090 171, or email [email protected]. A text is usually fastest — it's the same number we message you from.

Know another family who'd like a class? Their first one is free when they book within 7 days of enquiring — send them to the trial booking page.
